Consider these two entirely unrelated examples:

Lord of the Rings. After 3 or 4 people had tried to make a movie of the books, Peter Jackson finally succeeded with a winner. You could view his epic movie as a remake of the other ones.

King Kong. After 3 or 4 remakes of the fantastic original, Peter Jackson wanted to do it again because he loved the original. Your call if it was a box office success or not.Timhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16566324164033835168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381367761582904939.post-68632990558555027792011-09-27T23:15:57.245+13:002011-09-27T23:15:57.245+13:00Plus sequels are less risks than new franchises be...Plus sequels are less risks than new franchises because they have already been tested on the market - usually recently.Phil B-Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12089522642060777633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381367761582904939.post-86676740697141205492011-09-27T21:29:06.824+13:002011-09-27T21:29:06.824+13:00So basically remakes and sequels make money especi...So basically remakes and sequels make money especially if they have Megan Fox in them is what you're sayingSarahnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-381367761582904939.post-24861636099484366192011-09-27T21:27:39.409+13:002011-09-27T21:27:39.409+13:00Firstly, don't be rude about Wellington. So :p

Secondly, they keep going until they spend more than they make is that what you're saying? So annoying, why not just leave it when you they get to the top. Sex and the City 1 = great. Sex and the City 2 = terrible. They should have stopped at 1. They have ruined the franchise that was built with just one stupid sequel. But I guess they made money, so yay for them. Stink for us.

Thirdly, I'm not opposed to a good, well thought out sequel that was made for the benefit of the story and not purely for the money. I do appreciate a good story above all else.Heathernoreply@blogger.com
